Rename 2009 Sudan airstrikes
editConsidering the term air raid is more generally associated with strategic bombing, and that one target may have been sea based, I think the term "airstrike" would be more appropriate in the title. Joshdboz (talk) 20:00, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
News sources don't call the event "2009 Sudan air raids". They use a variety of names. We should copy one of those names. Even more important an error is Wikipedia uses this made up title in the introductory sentence as if it were an established name. The Wikipedia manual of style doesn't require its use like this. We shouldn't because it makes Wikipedia look like a joke. User F203 (talk) 16:36, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Location map
editThis might be a bit pedantic, but the map currently used in the article ([1]) is wrong. It depicts Sudan as not including South Sudan, but at the time of these events in 2009, it did. Robofish (talk) 11:52, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
