Leading scorers section

edit

I changed the leading goalscorers so it's in table form with game by game stats. I'll keep it updated throughout the season. Cheers (y) Peterpancake (talk) 07:02, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but I have to object the change because it is against some of Wikipedia's content policies. First of all, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, which includes excessive stats lists similar to this table. Secondly, I would suspect that your list is entirely created by you from synthesizing the information from various match reports or player pages – which is original research (see also WP:SYNTHESIS). If there would be a reliable source publishing this point of view, at least the original research claims could be dropped, but – as a last point, and the most important of them all – the table is completely unsourced. As Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, any content on here must be reliably sourced in some form.
In contrast, the "conventional" form of the goalscorer list is included into season articles like this one because it can usually be reliably sourced by either the official competition website or another reliable source, e.g. a newspaper. --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 07:34, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
