undo of Tnxman307

edit

What's up Tnxman307? You REMOVE a reference to a legitimate Libertarian candidate with no reference to policy. All you said was "nope" after removing a legit reference. Maybe it is because I am the actual candidate and I don't have the money the democrat and republican candidates have to hire someone to properly update the article with LEGITIMATE content. This is a legitimate reference.--DanKilo (talk) 17:01, 7 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Now you say that is is "not notable." I strongly disagree. Please see the Colorado_gubernatorial_election,_2006 article. the Libertarian party candidate is mentioned in this article along with the results of the number of votes that candidate received. Are you suggesting that Libertarian candidates should only be mentioned in the article AFTER they have been defeated??!!--DanKilo (talk) 17:13, 7 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I changed the reference from my personal site to the Colorado Secretary of State page that shows I am a Libertarian candidate. That should remove all doubt that this is a promotional post.--DanKilo (talk) 17:34, 7 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Tnxman307 you really are an ass. Now that you know this was a legitimate update, just to be an ass, you have to make some kind of change like changing my name and removing the very short description of who I am. I'm going to re-add a short description. This really is bullshit that it takes this kind of battle with an ass like you to get a legitimate update to stick.--12.42.70.215 (talk) 09:16, 8 March 2010 (UTC) (sorry, I should have logged in, 12.42.70.215 is me --DanKilo (talk) 09:27, 8 March 2010 (UTC))Reply

I'm sorry, but you don't get to choose what the article says about you. Firstly because you have a conflict of interest with the subject and secondly because your assertions are not supported by the source listed. TNXMan 12:56, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I CAN update the article's reference to me because I 'exercised great caution' while doing so. The assertions of some of the other people listed on this page are NOT 'supported by the source listed.' For example, see the reference number 9 for McInnis, the referenced article no longer exists. Why did you not remove the statement that he is a lawyer form this? The reference to being a vice-presidential candidate was supported by the Boston Tea Party page (and a few other Wikipedia articles) and you removed that. The content is correct and proper and should not have been removed. Furthermore, the name Dan "Kilo" Sallis is EXACTLY as it appears on the Colorado SOS documents and EXACTLY how it will appear on the ballot. Do you have something against Libertarians?--DanKilo (talk) 17:13, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Dan, please refrain from making personal attacks. Your edits are mostly within Wikipedia policy, but your conduct on this page falls short of the civility policy by which Wikipedians are expected to abide. (It probably won't win you many votes either.) Under the Wikipedia guideline on citing sources, references which lead to dead links are acceptable if no better reference can be found: see Wikipedia:Citing sources#Preventing and repairing dead links. In this case, a better reference can be found, with which I intend to replace the dead link. – Hysteria18 (Talk • Contributions) 19:44, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the info Hysteria18. Tnxman307 appears to have something personal going on here. Either he dislikes LP or he is WAY too fast to remove content. This is problematic because it creates a situation where people do not want to contribute to Wikipedia because it takes 2 days of arguing with a guy like Tnxman307 to get it to stick.--DanKilo (talk) 23:44, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I re-added the mention to Kilo removed by 165.127.38.122 and properly referenced the Brown mention. --DanKilo (talk) 23:45, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

He is currently polling at single digits, a realm delegated to third party candidates. Therefore, I do not believe he should be in the infobox at the moment, as the race is a two-party race between the Dems and the ACP. Just because he is a Republican does not mean that he can't be a third-party candidate. --haha169 (talk) 03:01, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
