Standings
editWe generally don't do detailed standings like this for anything but the Grand Tours. And, um, I'm pretty sure "Boasson Hagen" has a first name. Nosleep (Talk · Contribs) 20:34, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Date format change
editCould you please explain this edit, Theilert? Nosleep (Talk · Contribs) 02:46, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- The change of date format was not a reason for my edit, as you might have noticed, but once I started editing I corrected the date format to comply with previous editions: 2009, 2008 and 2007.
- If it were up to me, we should have decided on one date format to use across the whole of WP:CYC, for consistency... And since the most prominent cycle races are held outside of the US, I think we should adapt the international date format...
- If you look at this list, and the corresponding map, you see that the whole Arabic Peninsula uses the international date format. The only countries using US date format is Belize, Canada, Micronesia, Palau, Philippines, along with US itself. So I will resist from changing date formats on race-articles from those countries! lil2mas (talk) 23:04, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- That works, thank you. Certainly the Tour of California starts on "May 16" and not "16 May." Nosleep (Talk · Contribs) 00:20, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
