Lead

edit
  • In April 2012 eight members of the 2011 squad were selected in the NFL Draft... Put comma after "2012"

Before the season

edit
  • No issues

Personnel

edit
  • The most notable departures from the previous year were defensive end Marcell Dareus; left tackle James Carpenter; tight end Preston Dial; quarterback Greg McElroy; wide receiver Julio Jones; and running back Mark Ingram, Jr.[22] Commas should be put between names, not semicolons
  • See also: American football positions, Glossary of American football, and Recruiting (college athletics) Information not necessary for "See also"

Schedule

Rankings

edit
  • Sources needed to verify all of the information in the table, week by week
  • I have provided an overall citation for the table at bottom that does link to all of the information provided for in the table. I feel this is the most appropriate way to handle this otherwise 49 separate citations would need to be added. Patriarca12 (talk) 03:30, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

References

Make sure you proofread this section, as this is the only major problem with this article. I went through the first twenty references, and here are the issues that I found:

  • Reference 2 "Associated Press" and "ESPN.com" should be wiki-linked
  • Reference 3 "Rivals.com" should be wiki-linked
  • Reference 4 "Scout.com" should be wiki-linked
  • Reference 7 "Sports Illustrated" should be wiki-linked
  • Reference 8 Wiki-link "The Tuscaloosa News" and provide publisher
  • Reference 9 Publisher of publication is needed
  • Reference 10 Wiki-link "Knoxville News Sentinel" and provide publisher
  • Reference 11 Wiki-link "National College Football Awards Association"
  • References 12, 15, 16, 18, 19 Publisher is needed
  • Reference 14 Wiki-link "Austin American-Statesman" and provide publisher
  • Reference 17 Wiki-link "The Birmingham News"

Make sure you follow the guidelines of WP:REF when you proofread through these.

  • I have made the corrections as indicated above. I have also gone through the remainder of the article and added missing publisher information as well as adding wiki-links where appropriate. Patriarca12 (talk) 03:30, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

After thoroughly reviewing this article, I have decided to put the article on hold at this time. There are some minor prose issues, but the main issue of the article is the reference formatting errors. I will give you the general seven days to fix these mistakes and/or address issues you believe do not affect good article status. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. • I believe I have addressed all of the above concerns. If you have additional comments or do not feel your concerns have been addressed, please let me know. Thanks again for taking the time to review this as it is much appreciated. Roll Tide! Patriarca12 (talk) 03:30, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Since all of the issues have been addressed, I feel confident passing the article. Congratulations and keep up the good work! Rp0211 (talk2me) 05:08, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
