Notability
editThis earthquakes doesn't come anyway near meeting the proposed criteria for earthquake article notability as listed here. I will be taking this to AfD unless there is a clearer claim to notability. Mikenorton (talk) 23:44, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
- Before heading off to AfD, I did some looking into this and I think that it should survive because it is the largest naturally occurring (i.e. not related to deep fluid disposal) earthquake for more than a hundred years in Colorado. It is also of some scientific interest due to being part of a swarm, possibly related to an earlier swarm in the same area in 2001. I will expand the article at some point to include this information. Mikenorton (talk) 18:01, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
