Splitting the groups

Name of Arena

Judging from the specific Article, The Samsung Arena will be called Orange Arena for the time of the championship. The article now sometimes refers to it as Orange, sometimes Samsung. Either way, it should be consistent.Pkoppenb (talk) 13:36, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Mathematics

Why is Slovenia already in red? There is still a game to play and if they win (with lot of goal) against Germany and if there is no overtime in the other match, they can still qualify for the next round. The tiebreaker is the head-to-head rule. They win against Germany and end up with 3 points, one of Russia and Slovakia also ends up with 3 but Slovenia lost against both and so they are eliminated. Same with Germany being known as A1, won against both (Russia and Slovakia), so the last gameday just determines if Russia or Slovakia ends up being A2. Kante4 (talk) 21:12, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Time Zone

Why is local (Slovakia) time listed as UTC+2? The time zone map on the page Time zone obviously shows the nation in UTC+1. Also, if one accesses the IIHF website, it would be observed that the game listed as 4:15 (Bratislava Time) won't start until 10:15 (New York Time), not 9:15, and both zones are currently in the same Daylight Savings time and convention. You are correct, Slovakia lies in UTC+1 time zone. But UTC does not jump at summer/winter time. It is always continuing. So Slovakia's time instead jumps in UTC+2 in summer time. Slovakian time in winter UTC+1, in summer it is UTC+2. -Koppapa (talk) 15:14, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Nope, neither are through yet. If NOR def CAN, USA def FRA, SUI def SWE, NOR def FRA, SUI def USA in OT, and SWE def CAN, then the standings would be: 1, Norway (11 pts), 2, Sweden (10 pts), 3, Switzerland (8 pts), 4, United States (8 pts), 5, Canada (7) points, 6, France (1 point). Delay and inability to edit

Hi, this article used to be updated and useful - now its pretty much useless. Updates are delayed, readers don't get to see the score until two days after the match is played - I would love to help editing as I used to, but for some weird reason - now I am just not able to find the correct line to edit! It's crazy, there is bunch of infoboxes but I can't find what I'm looking for! And believe me - I have some experiences with the wikipedia, but I've never seen any system to be as stupid as it is in this article. So I'm asking wikipedians who have more skills and time, to either put in easier and more edit-friendly version, or to be way more active and add the bloody score after each game is played. Maybe I figured the infoboxes out now, guess the problem is that they are not "prepared" for the future games, so inexperienced users can't edit it. I'll try to do my best. Uhh...is this a joke? haha. The games not only are updated immediately following the game, but normally during it. Not really sure what Novis-M is referring to, the proof is in the edit history. Hi Novis M. This delay thing is a common thing on Wikipedia, if you store an url as a bookmark, and someone change the main title or the article, the the URL change as well. This will usually make the article show old versions of the article. 88.89.42.129 (talk) 13:00, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
