editSince the 1987 NFL strike and the 1982 NFL strike are a part of the page on the NFLPA, and both of these resulted in regular season implications, does this really need its own article since only the Hall of Fame Game was lost?JIMfoamy1 (talk) 15:07, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yes for now, while the season is currently in progress. This article was actually split from 2011 NFL season itself as a result of a long discussion that lasted throughout the lockout, see Talk:2011 NFL season#Separate article for the lockout. Zzyzx11 (talk) 05:19, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- I'm going to add some more information to this page so that it's in better shape. Hopefully by the time the season ends, it can be a simple copy paste job. --TravisBernard (talk) 20:33, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
New background section
editI did some work on the Background section, and I'd appreciate any and all feedback before adding it to the article. THE NFLPA is the client of my employer, and given Wikipedia's policy on WP:COI and WP:NPOV, I thought it would be best to seek feedback from the community first. Thanks in advance. Here's the link to the draft. --TravisBernard (talk) 21:25, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
- I went ahead a revised the entire article, and the draft can be found here. I'd love some feedback before I implement the changes. Thanks. --TravisBernard (talk) 21:46, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
- As noted on the NFLPA page, I have a conflict of interest working on this article, so any and all feedback is appreciated. If I don't hear from anyone soon, I'll assume the edits are fine to include. I've been careful to remove any POV bias. Thanks. --TravisBernard (talk) 17:58, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- I've made several other general edits to the draft, which can be found in the above link. I fact checked the article and rearranged the layout. I'll wait a day or two before implementing the changes, so if anyone has suggestions, feel free to chime in. Thanks. --TravisBernard (talk) 22:14, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- The article should now be mostly complete. Once the season ends, let's decide if we want to leave the article or merge it. --TravisBernard (talk) 15:53, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
