Talk:2011 Stepping Hill Hospital poisoning incident

4 or 5

edit

"one elderly male, Arnold Lancaster, 71, and a female - Tracey Arden, 44 - died as a result of the contamination, though it was also reported that each of the patients also had underlying medical conditions that made them weaker. On 21 July 2011, it was confirmed that two more patients had died, bringing the death count to five" Who was the fifth? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Owain meurig (talkcontribs) 17:50, 3 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I noticed that as well, and have fixed it per the cited source. The missing person was George Keep, aged 84. Graham87 06:20, 31 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Messy ordering

edit

The page is currently a bit of a mess, with dated events appearing out of sequence, and I think in particular the shift of suspicion from Leighton to Chua is not sufficiently deliniated. We also seem to have a massive omission in the form of the jutsification for Leighton's dismissal, especially in light of Chua's conviction. I'll see if I can make this a bit more coherent. Add A Fact: "Patient brain damaged by insulin overdose"

edit

I found a fact that might belong in this article. See the quote below

Grant Misell, 41, was left brain damaged after being poisoned, as the insulin overdose starved his brain of oxygen.

The fact comes from the following source:

Here is a wikitext snippet to use as a reference:
