Italian drivers

Is the lack of Italian drivers really that notable? It's a very trivial statistic and I find it a hugely questionable addition to the article lead, considering the lead is supposed to only be a summary of the contents of the article. --Falcadore (talk) 06:00, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Considering that there has been an Italian driver at every Grand Prix for the past twenty-nine years, I'd certainly say it's notable. Right now, that statistic is currently in the article lead, but as the article itself gains more information, it will no doubt be moved down to the most appropriate place. In fact, I don't think the article really needs to exist right now; I just went along with the creation of it because I get the feeling that if we removed the content and redirected back to the season page, we'd have to be doing it for the next week. And given the horrible issues with the page, at least this way the regular editors at WP:F1 will get some control over the content. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 08:52, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Investigation

The collision between Felipe Massa and Bruno Senna was to be investigated after the race. Does anyone know the result of the investigation? Tyres

I don't see anywhere mention of what (of the four) types of tyres where brought to the race. I.e. softs and mediums.
