Notable
editthe discussion at AFD was close din 1 day an it was not unanimous now was there reaso for the speedy keep designation. The article further has nothign on the SMOG itself jsut teh CAUSE and the IMPACT. That is before and after. What about the vent? If that its then it can go on pollution in china.
Also jsut because there ARE rs sorucfes doesnt mean they have to be notable enough to be used here.(Lihaas (talk) 13:43, 23 October 2013 (UTC)).
WP:SPEEDYKEEP says that if "the article is currently linked from the Main Page" that is a valid reason for a speedy keep. From the closing admin's comments on Lihaas' talk page it doesn't look like that was the rationale. —rybec 17:48, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Fake interwikis
editWhat is going on with the repeated re-insertion of fake interwiki links by User:Jax 0677? I don't think you understand what interwiki links are for. Please do not re-insert them again. A reminder that ownership of articles is forbidden, and you shouldn't make reverts because of perceived ownership. --benlisquareT•C•E 14:31, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
- Reply - I never claimed ownership, and bots have usually taken care of the interwiki links. I considered the 2013 Harbin smog a subset of Harbin, the person before undid my edit without explanation, but I will refrain until there is an article about the 2013 Harbin smog itself. --Jax 0677 (talk) 17:54, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
- Next time you want to add an interwiki, it's better to do it properly on Wikidata, instead of relying on bots. That way, you can also realise if there is a problematic mismatch. --benlisquareT•C•E 17:58, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
