I've changed "Shawn Christian, a child rapist, was elected mayor" to "Shawn Christian was elected mayor" due to possible WP:NPOV issues. If you want to put it back, could you please put a short explanation here? Orthogonal1 (talk) 07:03, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I don't feel that the line violates WP:NPOV. Shawn Christian is undoubtedly and unquestionably a convicted child rapist. Having taken another look at WP:NPOV I cannot see what element of that policy is being invoked here. AusLondonder (talk) 22:32, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
True, but I feel that mentioning this fact indicates that Wikipedia disapproves of the election result. I've been looking really hard to find a third party who has made this connection so that we can cite their opinion, but I can't find much commentary on the election at all.
