Jersey
editJersey cannot have had a National first (box, top right), since it is not a Nation. 94.30.84.71 (talk) 16:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Wikipedia would disagree with you. The Jersey article says that, although they rely on UK for military defenses, they have their own independent government. That seems to make them their own country. I believe a similar type of arrangement exists (or at one time existed) between Japan and the United States.--66.41.154.0 (talk) 03:35, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Maiden Flight & Retirements
editFor the current year (2013), we don't list maiden flight and retirements until then occur. But for future year (i.e. 2014), we do list maiden flight that are planned. We should be consistant. Could we list them with the phrase "planned" next to it?

- The usual practice is to only actively list those with their maiden flights already done (whether successfully or not) and leave the planned ones as a "comment" right next to it.
- I'll change the 2014 page to fit with the usual way of listing them. Galactic Penguin SST (talk) 04:19, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Next ISS spacewalk?
editAny idea on precisely when the next ISS spacewalk is due? According to the NASA mission page for Expedition 38, there is one slated for December 2013, but I can't find an exact date.
It may be that the reason I can't find an exact date is because an exact date hasn't been decided yet. If this is the case, any ideas how far in advance NASA/Roscosmos make this information public?
The reason I ask is that we are planning to feature List of International Space Station spacewalks as Wikipedia:Today's Featured List in the near future, and timing it to coincide with and mention a current spacewalk seems like a good way to maximise interest. —WFC— FL wishlist 22:57, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
- According to sources at NSF forums (http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=32006.60) the current plan is on December 23, but it may move up to December 20. It will be performed by Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kotov and Sergey Ryazansky. Hope this helps. Galactic Penguin SST (talk) 03:18, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- That's perfect, thanks! —WFC— FL wishlist 16:34, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
