Duplicate references

edit

I need help dealing with the duplicate references, I don't know how to link multiple citations to one reference. FstrthnU (talk) 22:46, 10 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

The reference needs to have a name, which goes inside the opening ref tag (e.g.):
<ref name="Aston Martin">{{cite web|last=Dagys|first=John|title=EXCLUSIVE: Aston Martin Racing Poised for NAEC Campaign|url=http://sportscar365.com/imsa/tusc/exclusive-aston-martin-racing-poised-for-naec-campaign/|work=sportscar365.com|publisher=John Dagys Media, LLC|accessdate=10 December 2013}}</ref>
and for subsequent ones, use only the named tag and close it with a forward slash:
<ref name="Aston Martin" />

Lotus nationality

edit

It probably wont matter in a few weeks, but for now there is confusion over the nationality of Lotus. An anon editor changed the article today to list Lotus as Czech under the claim that it was "on the official website", although I cannot find anything to back this. Lotus did run as Czech in 2013. The official full-season entry list has them as German, as does this entry list for Silverstone (although it should be noted that that list has Millennium as Argentinian instead of Emirati, since they use ARG instead of ARE). This Silverstone entry list has them as Romanian, as does this page on the WEC website. There is, at the moment, no explanation for why the team would now be running as Romanian, but it could be no different than their 2013 Czech nationality due to sponsorship. So basically, no one seems to really know, so I'd rather wait until we see something concrete. The359 (Talk) 07:18, 28 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
