Instead of tagging the article, why not just edit it and fix the problems.173.216.248.174 (talk) 00:40, 24 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

In defense of the tag (although I wasn't the one who put it there), at the time the tag was placed there, the story was very new, and not so much information was available other than what the police were saying. I think it was entirely justified to put the tag there to help make sure we stay aware of the fact that balanced and well-sourced information is needed, and that the article shouldn't be here unless the topic has enduring notability. —BarrelProof (talk) 01:26, 24 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Well, clearly no attempt has been made to fix it. I don't have the time to go over all the research and rewrite it. Libertarian12111971 (talk) 06:07, 1 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

This article somehow dropped off of my Watchlist for a while. I missed the entire discussion about deleting it. At the time I created the article, I was convinced it would be a major case with persisting substantial notability. Now more than a year has gone by with seemingly no follow-up press coverage whatsoever. I really wonder what has happened since last June. Probably some public record exists, but the topic has completely disappeared from the press. It's amazing how fleeting the attention span of the press can sometimes be. We don't know whether there has been a trial or a plea or whether some trial has been scheduled for the future or the charges have been completely dropped. —BarrelProof (talk) 04:11, 20 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
