  • "The 2015–16 South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season was a slightly below average season of tropical cyclone formation in the South-West Indian Ocean." please change to "The 2015–16 South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season was a slightly below average season" to avoid redundancy. Changed to "The 2015–16 South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season was a slightly below average event in tropical cyclone formation" for minimum redundancy. atomic7732 23:21, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • "The annual cyclone season began on November 15, 2015, with the first storm, Annabelle, forming four days following. The final and strongest storm, Fantala, dissipated on April 24, 2016, before the season ended on April 30 for most of the region. In Mauritius and the Seychelles, the cyclone season ended half a month later, on May 15." source the season ending dates please (look at other season articles).

  • Butting in here to remind people that there is no official cyclone season for the SWIO, just national ones which are allowed to be whatever they like. See the WMO operational plan for the region.Jason Rees (talk) 23:43, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • "The season started on November 19, with the formation of Annabelle. After a month of inactivity, Bohale formed, but was fairly weak, and only reached moderate tropical cyclone strength. Another month passed before Corentin formed on January 20. In February, the basin became somewhat active with Daya forming, and Uriah entering the basin days later. Emeraude formed in March, quickly peaking at intense tropical cyclone strength, before quickly weakening. Also, an unmonitored tropical depression entered the basin, but became extratropical soon after. Moderate Tropical Storm 07 formed at the end of March. The storm was operationally declared a depression, but was upgraded in post-storm analysis to a moderate tropical cyclone. In April, the season began to wind down. Very Intense Tropical Cyclone Fantala formed near the end of the month, and reached peak intensity as the strongest tropical cyclone recorded in the basin in terms of sustained winds. Fantala dissipated on April 24, ending the season." source? YE Pacific Hurricane 22:35, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Added refs of best tracks and removed the "unmonitored tropical depression". atomic7732 23:21, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Added links. Annabelle became post-tropical on the day that begins the sentence. Does this need clarification/better structure? atomic7732 23:21, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • "On December 3, a disorganized area of convection developed over the eastern equatorial region of the South-West Indian Ocean.[8] " can you define the location better here somehow? Maybe "near the equator in the central Indian Ocean". YE Pacific Hurricane 22:35, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Went with "equatorial regions of the central Indian Ocean." atomic7732 23:21, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • "On February 10, it became Moderate Tropical Storm Daya, 470 km (290 mi) southwest of Saint-Denis.[19]" for better flow, please change to "On February 10, the system was classified as Moderate Tropical Storm Daya, while located about 470 km (290 mi) southwest of Saint-Denis.[19]" YE Pacific Hurricane 22:35, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Restructured sentence to "Uriah entered the South-West Indian Ocean basin as a moderate tropical storm from the Australian region on February 14, where it was previously monitored by the Bureau of Meteorology's office in Perth." atomic7732 23:21, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • "Having been previously analyzed as a tropical depression throughout its lifetime, Météo-France noted that 07 intensified into a moderate tropical storm the same day.[34] " then mention it became a TD earlier in the section. YE Pacific Hurricane 22:35, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
