League table template
editI'm considering changing the template for the table to make it similar to those currently used for the A-League, Youth League, or 2015 National Premier Leagues. Currently there is formatting in the W-League table that colours the line for each team in their 'club colours' on their individual article pages. I think this is unnecessary, as:
- if you are in the Sydney FC table for example, it's not really that hard to find the team's standings without the colour to guide you;
- some teams colours are quite lurid, for example the Perth Glory table
- some are quite unreadable, for example the Melbourne Victory table - how ugly is that !!
- what other football leagues use this ?
Someone has gone to the trouble to 'pretty' this table up, but instead of just WP:BOLD I thought I'd see if there were any strong opinions about this. Matilda Maniac (talk) 10:06, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- I'm for that. These highlightings are especially irrelevant for this season as there are only 2 teams with season articles (Melb City and Perth Glory). However I didn't understand your meaning in the comment "if you are in the Sydney FC table for example, it's not really that hard to find the team's standings without the colour to guide you", why is Sydney different? --SuperJew (talk) 10:42, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- just if you didnt have the colour, its not that hard to find that team in the table anyway. Matilda Maniac (talk) 11:54, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, I didn't understand why Sydney especially... because of the "FC" addition? --SuperJew (talk) 11:59, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
