Not done. Fein won't actually appear on the ballot. Tiller54 (talk) 03:10, 27 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. That's a nicely sourced sentence, what do you want us to do with it? — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 01:17, 25 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
That source is already in use on the article. The only change that edit would make is to add [[]] around Garcia's name. That would be pointless though as he doesn't have an article. Tiller54 (talk) 16:01, 25 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Non-Partisan Race

edit

I noticed that the page listed Rahm Emanuel as a Democrat. That is definitely true, however, this is a non-partisan race and has been so since 1999. It seems the standard protocol for referencing this is "Independent". If you look back at previous election pages for Chicago, this is the case. Even Rahm Emanuel's win in 2011 listed him as an "Independent".

I'm guessing this was either an honest mistake (unlikely) or a Rahm supporter (not necessarily part of his campaign--could be anyone) trying to paint the picture that Rahm is a Democrat with an attempt to confuse the voter over where other candidates stand, whereas the other candidates also identify as Democrats.

So to reflect the Chicago policy, we should change the label "Democratic" to "Independent" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.178.2.1 (talk) 02:24, 25 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
