Electorate

edit

Thanks for creating this page -- good job! Would it be possible to add something about who gets to vote in the election?

I wondered about changing the article name to "... mayoral candidate election" or "... mayoral candidate selection" as this is not a primary in the common sense of the word of an open primary and "primary" generally is less used in UK political discussion. However, "primary" can be used to mean a closed primary, which this kind of is. Bondegezou (talk) 16:24, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for the feedback - I think there perhaps is a better name for the article which may need to be opened up to discussion. I noticed that the London Labour Party have advertised the process as "London Labour Mayoral Selection", so perhaps moving the article to become London Labour Party mayoral selection, 2015 would be more appropriate and accurate? I also think a section on the electorate would be a valuable addition. Willwal (talk) 13:29, 15 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
