Spectacular Finishes

edit

Perhaps a section could be added outlining the unusual number of spectacular finishes that occurred during the 2015 college football season. Any college football season is bound to have a number of great finishes, but this year had a number of finishes that might be ranked among the greatest finishes in college football history. For example:

Stanford vs. Notre Dame-had CFP implications on the line, plus featured 2 lead changes in the final 30 seconds.

Arkansas vs. Ole Miss-had Arkansas not pulled off a miracle in OT, Ole Miss, instead of eventual national champion Alabama, would have won the SEC West.

BYU vs. Nebraska/Boise St.-BYU had Hail Mary's in back-to-back weeks.

Notre Dame vs. Virginia-39-yard TD pass w/12 seconds left keeps the Irish in line for the CFP picture.

Nebraska vs. Michigan St.-Nebraska has 91-yard drive in 4 plays in final minute.

Georgia Tech vs. Florida St.-blocked FG returned for TD on final play of game.

Miami vs. Duke-8-lateral kickoff return for TD on final play.

Michigan St. vs. Michigan-botched punt return for TD on last play AND it was not only a rivalry game, and it not only had Big Ten title implications, but it had CFP implications as well.

These are just the most obvious. Michigan St. vs. Ohio St. or Iowa also had huge importance, but were less spectacular, while there are others that could be included such as TCU vs. Texas Tech. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thebeholder138 (talkcontribs) 21:03, 2 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
