The strategic aim of the offensive were recapture Tal al-Harra To reach Israeli border and cutting off rebel supply lines leading to Jordan. But attack on Tal al-Harra failed, and rebels regained some lost ground, so this offensive was tactical victory and strategic failure. For example in the battle of Prokhorovka, German forces captured some ground, and inflicted Russians heavy losses, but Germans could not occupy Kursk , and could not encircle the Russian forces, so military experts are considering battle of Prokhorovka as German tactical victory and strategic defeat.

Target this offencive was it regain all the lost villages and towns in this area but not only Tall al-Harra. And Syrian army recapture seven towns and the eight hills so we cant said that offensive failed. Also this offensive consisted from two phases and the first phase was completed successfully but the second stage is at an impasse and that is what we have indicated in the article. Also Syrian troops cut the rebels supply lines in West Ghouta. And rebels lost several of strategic hills so we cant said that offensive failed. Troops just were not able to capture all that they wanted but they took most of the objects that have been identified as a targets in this offensive. Therefore, in article was indicated that the second stage is at an impasse. Hanibal911 (talk) 17:20, 11 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

the rebels supply lines in West Ghouta had been cutting before offencive . rebels in West Ghouta Were besiged in Pockets, and they were waiting rebels in northern Daraa to breaking the siege. Goverment wanted to cut off rebel supply lines leading to Jordan in northern west of Daraa, this requires recapture Tal al-Harra. Troops took only 50% of the objects that have been identified as a targets in this offensive. They were not able to capture Kafr Shams and Tal al-Harra and Kafr Nasij and Akrba and Zemrin and Tal al-Ahmar and Tal al-Jabeyah and others. 197.32.171.57 .

Syrian troops recaptured the towns of Deir Makir,Deir al-Adas,Sabsaba,Sultaniyah,Habariyah, Hamrit,al-Danaji and eight hills Tall Sarja,Tall Qrein,Tall Fatima,Tall al Arus,Tall Sultaniyah,Tall al Sayyad, Tall Mari, Tal Ghasham. Also Kafr Nasij,Tall Antar and Tall Alaqiyah,At Tayhah,Mashara contested. So that they performed much more than half from the planned. So we cant said that the offensive failed. Only some part from the planned not was made. Here is an examples of the failed offensives: 2014 Latakia offensive 2014 Hama offensive 2013 Latakia offensive 2013 Hama offensiveDeir ez-Zor offensive (December 2014)Siege of Kobanî Hanibal911 (talk) 19:43, 11 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Agree with Hanibal. Troops were successful in capturing a dozen locations which constituted the first phase of their operation. The stalemate came only in phase two. Also, please do not insert Government forces attack on Tal al-Harra failed which is factually incorrect. It could not have failed when there was no assault on it to begin with. Frontline is still dozens of miles away. EkoGraf (talk) 00:39, 13 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
