@Dodger67: I think that was a separate incident. I'm not sure if it should be included. This articles is about the fire that burned the Cape Peninsula in March. Nathan121212 (talk) 08:47, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Nathan121212 If that is the case the title must be changed to be more specific and narrower, as it is now it refers to an entire fire season over the whole region. I would actually prefer to expand the article to fit the title, limiting it to only one week out of the whole season is imho undue. Roge

That would make sense and probably make for a better article.Let's go for it. Nathan121212 (talk) 12:55, 2 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Nathan121212 OK I'm up for it, but not quite yet, I have a heavy workload for the next few weeks. I'll have sufficient free time towards the end of May into June. Perhaps could then also do some research to find if other seasons are also as notable? Don't forget the winter fire seasons in the Mpumalanga forestry areas. The whole aerial firefighting service with all their planes and helicopters migrate seasonally between Stellenbosch and Nelspruit airports. Apparently they generate most of their income from the commercial Forest Fire Association in Mpumalanga, in the Western Cape their costs are covered mostly by various levels of government as the fires mostly occur on state land. (Not a reliable source, I read it on an aviation forum.) Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:06, 2 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
