Orphaned references in 2015 in heavy metal music
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2015 in heavy metal music's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "blabbermouth.net":
- From Dream Theater: "DREAM THEATER's New Album Cracks U.S. Top 10". BlabberMouth.
- From Sirenia (band): http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/sirenia-returns-to-napalm-records/
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 00:39, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
Reliable/unreliable sources
editWe need to decide which sources are reliable and which aren't. In my opinion, Metal Archives and Spirit of Metal aren't very reliable as they only list albums, EPs, etc. While sites such as Blabbermouth.net, Brave Words, Loudwire, Metal Injection and other similar websites not only list information about albums, EPs, etc., but most of the time they even mention where the news are taken from (band's website and similar). Up (Pop Evil album)
editShould Up (Pop Evil album) be included in this article? The genre for Pop Evil is listed as alternative metal. --Jax 0677 (talk) 13:18, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
Malevolent Creation
editThe new Malevolent Creation album Dead Man's Path has been moved back to October 16th from it's listed date here of September 18th. Could someone please edit this accordingly? [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.32.145.239 (talk) 03:28, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Metalcore
editI've noticed some metalcore bands/albums have been features here. As somewhat of a metal "snob/purist/however you call me", I don't consider metalcore as part of metal and consider it to be hardcore punk and thus should not be included in the list. Agree? --Cganuelas (talk) 23:27, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
