Assembly of Experts isn't a part of Iranian parliament

edit

Assembly of Experts isn't a part of Iranian parliament.--Arfarshchi (talk) 17:43, 19 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, but aren't they scheduled for the same date? AndrewRT(Talk) 19:44, 19 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

What is a Majlis and the numbers

edit

I see that there have been two disputes here:

  • What is a Majlis. On the question of what is a Majles, the Assembly of Experts is also called the Majles-e Khobregān. The Consultative Assembly is called the Majles-e Showrā-ye Eslāmī. Both Majles. Both having elections. So both belong in this article.
  • What are the numbers so far. Some numbers were deleted, but numbers are coming in, so presumably this section can be restored soon. Erxnmedia (talk) 00:25, 28 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for taking this to the talk page. I agree with your statements but not sure about your logic. Agree that they are both "legislative elections" and they are both taking place on the same date, but it is up to us whether that means we have a single article for both elections or separate articles for each election. @@GTVM92: Vali Dadashi are Independent politician. If the map is not the place for independents, please create or i will remove this map.SaməkTalk 15:58, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I really doubt that other districts on the map are colored right. Pahlevun (talk) 16:19, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Samak: @Pahlevun: I created the map with using this source [1]. At this source, Dadashi is said a Principlist GTVM92 (talk) 17:19, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Isna (Impartial), entekhab (Rouhani) Khabaronline (R), Tasnim (P) said independent. Fars (P) and Tabnak (P) said Principlist.
Isna (Impartial) is credible than Tabnak. I was from supporters Dadashi, he is politically independent.--SaməkTalk 17:29, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I will correct the map. GTVM92 (talk) 18:11, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

edit

Recently, User:Pahlevun has removed the sections that needs. The election page needs elected members and votes. This user removed all we need. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 10:30, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

5.74.0.223. You are keeping to change numbers of seats. The numbers in the source only includes exclusive seats. This is interesting that you add shared candidates to one side. Your map is wrong. If you want it back, correct it and put it here, untill I verify it, then add it to the article. For MPs, you can create articles like List of MPs elected in the United Kingdom general election, 2015 with proper reference and link it to fa:فهرست نمایندگان دوره دهم مجلس شورای اسلامی. Pahlevun (talk) 12:27, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ok. I will do it. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 12:29, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
5.74.0.223. Thank you. And about the map: add People's Voice candidates. For districts won by MPs from different lists, do not color it with the first MP. Make it stripped like this map. Pahlevun (talk) 12:43, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Pahlevun, please give me a list of People's Voices elected members and their constituencies. And when a candidate is supported by different lists, what we should do?! 5.74.0.223 (talk) 12:46, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Here. For multiple winner districts, make a sptripped map like this. And plaease regard the portions. For example, in Tabriz, Osku and Azarshahr out of 6 seats, List of Hope won 3, Principlists won 2 and People's Voice won 1. So   will be blue,   will be yellow and the rest   of the area will be violet. Pahlevun (talk) 12:58, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
5.74.0.223. Regarding this edit, extract the material from here and change "Political camp" to "List" untill it won't become WP:OR. So those who were in the listsd are mentioned, e.g. Kazem Jalali is principlist, not reformist, but he was listed by List of Hope. So "Independent" becomes "Unlisted". About your question, we cannot sum popular vote on our own, because we should add those who lost too. And to my experience, this is impossible when you don't have full statistics. I added your other request. Pahlevun (talk) 13:12, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I removed the previous MP's that was disputed in the Elected MPs section. Now, I will be add the elected members in the second round. If you can upload the map image please do it, if not, I will be upload it next. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 13:03, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I think the section can be move to a new article: List of MPs elected in the Iranian legislative election, 2016. Pahlevun (talk) 13:15, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Then, the article will be very empty. If you can add any subjects to the article like campaigns and events, I think the idea will be good. If not, it's better that the section remains in the main article. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 13:24, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'll expand it, so it doesn't matter if you create the list. And it's better to use this format.

See this example for East Azerbaijan districts:

# Candidate List Votes
1st R. 2nd R.
Tabriz, Osku and Azarshahr (6)
1 Masoud Pezeshkian List of Hope 261,605
2 Ahmad Alirezabeighi Principlists Grand Coalition 235,314
3 Zahra Saei List of Hope 114,384 134,131
4 Mohammad Hossein Farhangi Principlists Grand Coalition 143,379 116,738
5 Shahabaddin Bimegdar List of Hope 96,281 112,345
6 Alireza Monadi Sefidan People's Voice 113,748 109,149
Mianeh (2)
1 Fardin Farmand Unlisted 94,564
2 Yaghoub Shiviari Principlists Grand Coalition 23,919

With this format, you can see if the MP is elected in each round. The lists are also better describing than "political camp". Pahlevun (talk) 13:42, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Good, please do it. But for map, I'm confused! The source you give me is not included second round. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 13:50, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
For the map, I faced some elected members are only supported by Front of Prudence and Development. Do you agree we add the list to the article and results? 5.74.0.223 (talk) 14:16, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
The source includs second round too. To find number of votes, you should search for each districs' sources like I did here. If you think this is too hard, we can remove the votes section.

I think those supported by the Front of Prudence and Development should not be colored on the map, because it is not regarded a serious rigid bloc by reliable sources and coloring it would become an original research. Pahlevun (talk) 14:25, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

For the second round, Front of Prudence and Development has supported many candidates and won the seats. I think it should be in the inbox. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 15:32, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'm working on adding new sections to the article. Pahlevun (talk) 14:26, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
The map is updated. Please check it. If it's anything wrong tell me, If not, please add to the article. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 15:30, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Where is the map? I cannot find it. Pahlevun (talk) 15:32, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
The map has not changed? Where are People's voice districsts? There are some districts won, e.g. Kazem Delkhosh of Sowme'eh Sara (which you counted as reformist) and Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh of Eslamabad-e Gharb (which you counted as principlist). Why Yazd Province is not fully blue? Pahlevun (talk) 15:44, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Please try using official colors for the districts:
  •   List of Hope
  •   Principlists Coalition
  •   People's Voice

Pahlevun (talk) 15:46, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

You can use ISNA's piece too. look if those on independent column are on People's Voice list or not. Pahlevun (talk) 15:49, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
The image is now updated. It was a mistake occured. But my reference was here. 5.74.0.223 (talk) 15:53, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

This is how Tabriz should be for example:

An example of districts won by multiple lists

-Pahlevun (talk) 16:10, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

I think it is better to first create List of MPs elected in the Iranian legislative election, 2016 based on lists vited in reliable sources, and then make the map based on the article, w hen it is compromised and verified. Pahlevun (talk) 16:14, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Pahlevun: Why you don't continue your work in the List of MPs elected in the Iranian legislative election, 2016 page? The article is very incomplete and must be completed. Please continue. GTVM92 (talk) 09:57, 7 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
