Merge into list of lone wolf terrorist attacks

edit

I strongly suggest this page be developed and merged into a list of lone wolf terrorist attacks, as it probably won't be covered beyond current news cycle/no academic research on topic. Spirit Ethanol (talk) 20:50, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

This incident has been included at List of terrorist incidents, January–June 2016, why is that not sufficient? Many of the other attacks on the list had much greater casualties. Why should this incident receive different treatment? AusLondonder (talk) 01:53, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Fox News

edit

Is Fox News a reliable source for statements about a person or indeed in any context? They are known to make stuff up AusLondonder (talk) 20:52, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Of course it is. So is the Daily Mail. I cannot name a newspaper that has not has not made stuff up/gotten stories wrong, nor can I name any that lacks a political slant. It is disruptive for you to remove material from articles because WP:IDONTLIKEIT.E.M.Gregory (talk) 21:11, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Actually, that is incorrect. Much of the consensus at WP:RSN has been the Fox News is simply not a reliable source because they engage, consistently, in gutter journalism, they lie, and they distort the truth in a way virtually no other journalistic organisation does. AusLondonder (talk) 01:58, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Have you any evidence, any at all, that Fox deliberately "did this", that is, deliberately tinged the image?" Stuff happens, all news media get stuff wrong, but, well, have you never had a digital image sort of tinge itself?E.M.Gregory (talk) 15:39, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Hahah oh dear @E.M.Gregory: you're very kind but very naive. AusLondonder (talk) 15:50, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
E.M.Gregory, do note that while sources for FOX News have been used without any problems in regards to reliability (from what I've seen), Daily Mail has not. A very confusing standard from my standpoint, but it is what it is so far. Parsley Man (talk) 04:43, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Redirect categorisation

edit

The redirect Mohamed Barry, which points to this article, is in Category:African Americans shot dead by law enforcement officers in the United States. At CfD recently there was a consensus to move some articles in that category to a new category, Category:African people shot dead by law enforcement officers in the United States. For categorisation purposes is Barry, who was born in Africa but became a permanent resident of the U.S., an African American, an African person, or both? – Arms & Hearts (talk) 16:49, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Location

edit

I am from Gahanna, Ohio, and most locals consider Nazareth as a part of Gahanna (I actually eat there almost weekly, it's really good). I don't know if locals as source would be sufficient? While it may be inside of political Columbus boundaries, the entire strip that Nazareth is on is mainly considered apart of Gahanna.
