Not all WRC-2 entries are eligible for teams classification

edit

I've seen the list of entries for the rally and the results from Rally Monte Carlo. I've noticed for instance that DG Sport and PH Sport, who according to list here are fielding Quentin Gilbert and Quentin Giordano respectively, do not receive points in the teams standings and instead 15 points for example went to Peugeot Rally Academy, whose driver José Antonio Suárez finished 6th in the rally. This means that some drivers in the official entry list are listed as privateer entries (not affiliated with any team). In order to avoid confision I have two solutions:

  • 1. The Teams and drivers section to revert to its original template with private drivers being listed with the driver/co-driver name of the registered entry in the Entrant coloumn.
  • 2. Retain the current form, but marking entities that are not registered for the Team classification in specific color (tomato or some other red color) Ivaneurope (talk) 17:09, 25 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
I corrected it to be consistent with previous years. The "Entrant" column should list the entrants (team or privateer), not who prepared the car. I checked it with the Entry Lists of Monte-Carlo and Sweden. Please review it. MNSZ (talk) 03:17, 6 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in 2016 World Rally Championship-2

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2016 World Rally Championship-2's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:49, 19 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
