had subtitles calling this the "GOP Train Wreck" and the reporter was making snide comments because of the double meaning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vanguard10 (talkcontribs) 05:16, 1 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

A traffic accident like dozens every day. Why should this get an article? We have Wikinews special for this. Wikipedia is not a news site. WP:Not News --Livenws (talk) 00:24, 2 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

@LIVE NIEUWS This accident involved members of United States Congress primarily of the Republican Party. It was a serious accident and does merit its own article. If you want to contest the notability of the article, I would draft a nomination of this article for WP:AFD. FunksBrother (talk) 17:01, 3 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
As FunksBrother said, this has clear notability as it involves numerous notable people (including the Speaker of the House, though not mentioned in article), and is covered by dozens of sources. A Google search returns over 1 million results. Cocoaguy ここがいい 19:22, 4 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
An article is not encyclopedic if there are 'dozens of sources' or there were 'famous people (known in the USA)' onboard. This is a small railway accident, like there are millions in the world each year. --Livenws (talk) 10:50, 20 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
