So, does anyone know what's the difference between these two? As far as I know, both were called up by the government, both are binding, and both had a normal 50% quorum to pass.--Aréat (talk) 15:31, 6 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Aréat: it appears that the referendum questions were specifically about the constitution, whereas the popular consultation ones were about laws or statutory orders (or whatever the Ecuadorian equivalent is).
