Age of Helicopter
editAlthough the FAA quote a manufacturer date of 2007 is actually a former US Army Helicopter serial number 67-17658, delivered in July 1968 so probably built in early 1968. It was bought by the Firelands Museum of Military History, Norwalk, Ohio in 1997, it received its first civil CofA in 2007 which is probably where the FAA date came from. - Just a strange note the helicopter crashed in Vietnam and has a book written about it "An Eagle's Eye View: The Combat History of Army Helicopter Tail # 67-17658" . MilborneOne (talk) 20:14, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- The 2007 date has to be spurious and should be removed. - Ahunt (talk) 20:47, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
I've commented out the disputed text. MilborneOne - if you can add to the history of the helicopter with that source, please do so. Mjroots (talk) 22:03, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
