I'm trying to add in summaries of each session's happening as the match goes on (it is The Ashes, after all!). Given that there are 4 more Tests after this one (and we're not even done with the first day of this one...), is the current information too much or just enough? 107.190.33.254 (talk) 17:05, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Personally I think it's the right amount for now but I would just be careful of putting numbers between one and nine as words instead of numbers. HawkAussie (talk) 01:51, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Are you thinking of something like this?? That could be done, but then again that article also has in-depth summaries (very similar to what I'm doing) for each match of the tour (not just the Tests!). The more similar article (on the same, well known series) also contains summaries similar to what is present in this article. 107.190.33.254 (talk) 23:39, 19 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I think the former is good. If I want to get an overview of the 2005 Ashes series, the descriptions in 2005 Ashes series are too long, though that is offset by a fairly good concise summary in the lead. However, I seem to be in the minority on this. Adpete (talk) 01:28, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Where are the England fanboys!? Especially Mr. Lugnuts or whatever he is called? Seems like they all ran away after the drubbing in the fourth Test. Could some non-England fanboy add summaries for fourth and fifth Test? 59.95.69.148 (talk) 16:21, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
I did not resort to ad hominem. I came here through the discussion at WP:ITNC. Since no England fanboy can be bothered to fix it, sure I'll fix it in order to ensure it gets to the Main Page. 59.95.69.148 (talk) 04:54, 18 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, dude, 'fanboy' is a very derogatory term. We're talking about people with a problem. Over 20,000 Englishmen suffer from Ginger Kiwi Semen Dependency. 203.213.243.117 (talk) 23:20, 9 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
