Title
editShouldn't the title be "2019 Northern British Columbia murders"? We don't use acronyms in titles like this do we? If so, it should likely be moved, and a redirect created.--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 21:12, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
- I agree. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 05:20, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Inconsistent dates
editIn some cases, American style dates are used (for example, August 10). In other cases, European style dates are used (for example, 10 August). Please reconcile. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 05:26, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Should the Victim Names Redirect here?
editAlright, I moved the article to "2019 Northern British Columbia murders" as discussed above. The redirects using the suspects' names were also updated to redirect to the new page. There does not seem to be redirects using the victims names: Lucas Fowler, Chynna Deese, Leonard Dyck. Should we create these? I note there has been a lot of discussion about use of victims' names at Christchurch mosque shootings lately. Some seem to think it is in poor taste and should not be included others think it is part of the topic and should not be excluded. I am not sure what our policy on this sort of redirect is. It seems a bit dirty and in poor taste, but people will be searching by their names too. I don't think WP:VICTIM addresses this head on.--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 19:31, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, I think they should. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 10:37, 28 September 2019 (UTC)

Memorials?
editShould it be mentioned that this memorial was build? It is a reaction, not sure whether or not it adds to the article though.--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 23:16, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
Phrasing
edit"Believed to have killed" and "allegedly traversed 3,200 km." These are proven facts not allegations. They confessed to the murders in a video recovered by the RCMP and there was a nation-wide manhunt. The phrasing here should be corrected. Orbovia (talk) 18:44, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Then go ahead, WP:BEBOLD. WWGB (talk) 03:40, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
