Lede contradicts with article
editThe lede of this article contradicts the rest of the article. For instance it states:
- The 2019 Rugby World Cup warm-up matches will be a series of rugby union test matches that will take place in August and September 2019, as the 20 competing teams prepare for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
However, there are matches that were played in June and July listed. Also people may become confused with this and may construe the matches played in the Rugby Championship and the Pacific Nations Cup which take place between July and August. I will add the following:
- The 2019 Rugby World Cup warm-up matches will be a series of rugby union test matches that will take place between the months of June to September 2019, as the 20 competing teams prepare for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Matches played within tournaments, such as in the Rugby Championship and the Pacific Nations Cup which takes place between 20 July to 10 August, are not considered as warm up matches and therefore not included in this list.
Which I think will remove any confusion and clarify the article's purpose
Some Tonga and Uruguay games not listed
editSome of the fixtures for Tonga and Uruguay are not listed and/or conflict with with the dates in World Rugby's fixtures schedule. According to World Rugby Tonga is due to play Western Force on the 24 August (See here).
In relation to Uruguay, it is listed they will play Brazil on the 7 September, whereas World Rugby list this fixture to take place on the 31 August (See here) and list Uruguay to Play a South America XV on 7 September (See here). World Rugby also schedule Uruguay to play a game against Argentina XV on 31 August (See here). I will add these games to the list.
My error Urugauy face Argentina XV on 24 August
Someone has removed the Uruguay Vs South America XV. I will put it back up.
