General
edit- Several players who have the diacritics (i.e. accents and dots) in their names do not have them in the article and these will need to be included

- Currently, two mentions of the women's events are reffered to as "ladies". Is this correct?
- As the events are organised by a German company (well, the Euro Tour is continental, so most of the writers are Dutch or German etc), most of the sources are written in broken English. They refer to it as both. I can go with either, or change all mentions to women. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:03, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- I believe it would be beneficial if it was referred to as a women's event rather than a ladies' event on a whole. MWright96 (talk) 14:06, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- Changed. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:21, 4 November 2019 (UTC)

Lead
edit- "was a nine-ball pool tournament," - maybe combine the two links per MOS:SEAOFBLUE?
- Yeah, I should have done this. Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:05, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "who defeated the Netherland's" - typo; Netherlands
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:05, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "The defending champion was Netherland's Fedor Gorst," - Fedor Gorst of the Netherlands,
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:05, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Russias Kristina Tkach was the defending champion" - another typo; Russia's
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:05, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "in the previous year's final 7–0." - how about plain "2018 final" over "previous year"?

Tournament format
edit- "The event was held from 8 to 11 May for the men's event, and 9 to 12 May for the women's event." The source attacted to this text does not mention the exact dates and will need another citation to back it up
- Added a primary source for both events with the official dates. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:08, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- Also the above sentence would be better written as The men's event was held from 8 to 11 May, and the Women's took place between 9 to 12 May.
- "Russias Kristina Tkach was the defending champion of the ladies event," - typo; Russia's
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:08, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
Prize fund
edit- The last-16 column in the table should begin with a capital letter
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:01, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- Also the source attacted to the prize fund sentence does not mention any monetary awards at all. This will need urgent addressing.
- Fixed. Link was pointing to the wrong location. Bare in mind, the prize fund is in dollars here, but originally in Euro. I've added a primary source to show it was in Euros. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:01, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
Men's event
edit- "The men's event was held from 8 to 10 May, with 208 participants" - this flows better: 208 participants entered the men's event held from 8 to 11 May.
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:11, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Massey, however, was unable to win either a game, losing to Bruno Ernst and Juan Antonio Pina-Hidalgo." - more concise and neutral Massey lost both of his games to Bruno Ernst and Juan Antonio Pina-Hidalgo.
- Changed Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:11, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Ouschan won the next two matches, but lost to" - an improvement: before he lost
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:11, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Gray led 4–2, but Staab won four racks in-a-row" - better: until Staab won four consecutive racks
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:11, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Post-match, Gray would comment that he "didn't know how [he] won"" - Gray commented he was mystied as to how he won the game
- Done - with spelling change Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:11, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "He led at 4–3, and 6–4, but Saris won" - He led at 4–3 and 6–4 before Saris won
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:11, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
Women's event
edit- "The women's event was played between 9 and 11 May, with 44 participants." - would be better worded as 44 participatnts played in the women's event between 9 and 11 May.
- Should never start a sentence with a number per MOS:NUM. I've added a prelude. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:16, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "before a 7–4 win over Polands" - typo: Poland's
- This was quite bad in this article. Fixed Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:16, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Gradišnik took advantage and won the following four racks to win and" - to claim a victory
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:16, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Last years runner-up Oliwia Czuprynska also lost at this stage," just say 2018 runner-up instead of writing "last years"
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:16, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "The first semi-final had Gradišnik leading 6–5 over Tkach, but made mistakes on" - better: over Tkach; she made errors
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:16, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- "five racks to trail at 6–5, but Tkach won the next rack" - more neutral before
- Done Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:16, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
References
edit- References 4, 6, 7, 9, 12, 15, 17 and 19 are all missing the author who wrote the articles

There are some issues in the article, some minor and some major. The minor issues concern the way the sentences are written and some instances of editorialising and the lack of an author that should be clearly stated in several references. One of the main issues concerns two statements in the article which are not backed up by the sources they are attacted to. Will put the review on hold. MWright96 (talk) 05:57, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- All looks pretty simple to me. Thanks for the fast review. The uncited parts are likely negligence on my part. I'll get to work now. Thanks MWright96! Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 07:58, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- clearly not my best article, could have done with a copy-edit before nom. I've covered all of the above, MWright96. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:38, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Lee Vilenski: Had to swap out the source you added because it was duplicate of one that is already in the article. Nevertheless am happy with the changes and will promote the article to GA class. MWright96 (talk) 15:43, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
