I have proposed merging this article
editI have proposed merging this article into Strikes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discuss at that article's talk page. @Quidster4040: Courtesy ping. -- MelanieN (talk) 18:25, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
Use of term "essential worker" within the article
editImmediately when I read the first line, I've considered whether/how the term "essential worker" is used. Though it is relevant and commonly used during the current (as of writing) Covid-19 pandemic, it is possible that it will fade into obscurity within a few years. I considered linking the "Essential worker" page, but its current version has issues which could obscure a future reader's experience more. Otherwise, I still think the article should be called "2020 United States essential workers general strike" as that is what it will probably be known as (outside of wikipedia). Any thoughts?
