One article or two?
editGiven that this special election and that of the 2nd congressional district will most likely occur on the same day, would it not make sense for the two elections to share the same page, as we do with states during regular election cycles? Epluribusunumyall (talk) 04:22, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
Polling
editUh you should know that someone edited the hypothetical polling to show that Gary Chambers was in front when that’s not what it shows. If you have a different poll that shows Gary Chambers in front I think we’d all be welcome to see it. But to my knowledge there isn’t any.Tremeny (talk) 19:24, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
Endorsements
editA few days back I added Joseph Cao, Burgess Owens, Vernon Jones, and other people who endorsed Claston Bernard to his endorsement list but someone removed them. There was no good reason to remove them since they all did endorse him. Please reinstate these edits. 73.70.228.14 (talk) 18:01, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Anish631
RE:Endorsements
editPlease don't add endorsements made on somebody's congressional campaign site, twitter or Instagram. Those endorsements will be removed. See: WP:ENDORSED. Qba0202 (talk) 15:05, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thats fine but some of the endorsements you removed like Joseph Cao were cited using independent primary sources, not just tweets. Anish631 (talk) 20:38, 19 March 2021 (UTC)Anish631
Primary or Runoff Endorsements
editPrevious edits added many endorsements to the Primary section, instead of the Runoff section. Shouldn't they be in the Runoff section, especially since they were made after the jungle primary had occured? Kind regards. —Twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 04:10, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- talk page Yes, I think you're right: They should be in the runoff section. Activist (talk) 18:56, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- Rmv endorsements that were not reliably sourced. A candidate can't claim on their own Twitter feed that they were endorsed by the Second Coming. RSS, please. Please see... 3. Lists of endorsements should only include endorsements which are specifically articulated as "endorsements". Expressions of support, use of particular hashtags, comments about donating to a campaign (i.e., sourcing solely to an FEC filing doesn't pass muster), and other forms of praise of a candidate is often included as an "endorsement". Support of this criterion would require the endorsement be explicit. In most cases, this would require use of the word "endorsement" by the person endorsing or by media coverage thereof. - I believe that I saw that Tyler Bridges was considered a RSS, even when he wasn't writing in The Advocate. Is that a correct assumption? Activist (talk) 14:49, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
