U.S. bias

edit

The whole series of these articles, (2020 in rock music, 2019 in rock music, etc.) exhibit a very marked bias towards U.S. acts and achievements. '2021 in mainly U.S. rock music' would be a more accurate title. Even given Wikipedia's well noted leanings towards God Bless America, these articles do not even come close to representing a global viewpoint. Any thoughts ?

I'm the article's primary writer. I have no particular love for the US or anything like that (quite the opposite, I'm not crazy about their recent musical trends) I just mostly write about what I read across my browsing of the rock music world, and the US is the biggest rock music market in the world. Like, I'd love to write about the biggest rock acts breaking out of Ireland or Africa...but if that's happening, it's not getting much coverage and I'm missing it. I try to add stuff about rock bands topping the charts in the UK, which is the only other place I see much activity. I think the other problem is just that it's a massive scope and I'm the only one writing anything outside of passerbys and people who enjoy documenting the death stuff.
