Semifinal
editIn general, North American English seems to be moving to an un-hyphenated "semifinal" including most sources for this event:
- "PFC in need of goals aplenty in second leg of CPL playoff semifinal in Ottawa" –Times Colonist
- "Canadian Premier League announces playoff semifinal matchups, schedule" –CPL
- "... in the first half of last Sunday’s semifinal victory over Cavalry FC" –Hamilton Spectator
- "Goals key for Cavalry in search of CPL's semifinal moment with Forge" –Calgary Sun

- Sounds good! My priority is just that we pick one spelling and use that consistently. Your point is well taken – let's use "semifinal". I am wordsmyth (talk) 17:19, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
