Resign-to-run
editAccording to the Wiki page on resign-to-run, the U. S. Supreme Court in 1970 ruled that Florida‘s resign-to-run rule cannot be applied to candidates running for Congress, as that would be unconstitutional. Mhapperger (talk) 09:17, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick
editWhat do you think about classifying Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick as a major candidate. I mean she’s raised the most money because of her own self-spending, she’s gotten some media attention, and she’s polling higher than Bobby DuBose at the moment. I don’t care either way. I’m just putting the idea out there.Tremeny (talk) 17:28, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- There should be no classification for major or minor candidate in anything that is not a presidential race. Both sections need to be added together. Curbon7 (talk) 21:59, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- I'll fix up this page later, I guess. Curbon7 (talk) 22:00, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
Hastings endorsement
editThe claimed Hastings' endorsement of Holness is not supported as it is not mentioned in any public independent source. The mentioned reference says that Holness claims the endorsement not that it actually happened. It should therefore be removed. Hadi (talk) 10:17, 6 November 2021 (UTC)
- I went ahead and removed this endorsement as this has not been contested by any other editors and the edit clearly violates the site's current endorsement criteria. --ArticleEditorFriend (talk) 01:43, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
