Candidate colors
editThis section is pinned and will not be automatically archived. |
Candidate | Hex | In use? | Reason |
---|---|---|---|
Charlie Crist | Shade of light blue used on his campaign website. | ||
Nikki Fried | Shade of yellow used in her campaign logo. | ||
Annette Taddeo | Pick a contrasting color at random. | ||
Other/Undecided | Default gray |
Anyone is welcome to start a discussion regarding these colors. Curbon7 (talk) 05:49, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
Ron DeSantis is unopposed in the primary
editAccording to the election division in the Florida department of state, none of DeSantis' supposed primary challengers qualified for the primary ballot and therefore he is unopposed in the primary and the presumptive nominee for the GOP, I believe the page should be amended to reflect this.
Journalism
editIt's shoddy to say nothing of incorrect to leave out Crist having run for governor before as well as having been a governor.Extraordinary2 (talk) 21:34, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
- The fact that he was a governor is mentioned in the lede. Curbon7 (talk) 21:39, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
- You and the "lede" again which isn't even there. It is an omission to leave out the fact he ran for governor unsuccessfully. Extraordinary2 (talk) 21:50, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
- I'm with Curbon on this one. The information has already been mentioned, it does not need to be repeated to drive the fact home. Hey man im josh (talk) 03:08, 29 October 2022 (UTC)

Poll
editTalk pages are only useful if people are using them. Curbon7 is the only person "weighing in" so to speak and has in my view been wrong. Would someone create a poll specifically for this topic? (Charlie Crist has been a Florida governor in the past. He also ran for governor in 2012 and lost. My perspective is it is revisionism and blatant at that to leave this out.) Other people are editing this page and reverting correct edits. I ask them to desist. Take part in the poll when one is made.Extraordinary2 (talk) 04:40, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
