Fixtures

Hi. Multiple other sources show that this is not the case. The ICC often puts placeholder fixture lists together for tournaments like this. Lugnuts ^{Fire Walk with Me} 13:50, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

The ICC fixture page is not reliable especially at this stage. It often contains errors for Associate series. Cricket Germany have stated they are playing Philippines, UAE and Ireland and provided dates for these games, and other sources (Cricket Europe, Emerging Cricket, etc) have reported the same. Of course if it turns out that there has been a change, we can change the groups accordingly when such a change has been reported. Bs1jac (talk) 10:24, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

Czarsportz have announced a change of groups, but I think he is just basing that on the icc calendar. Haven't seen a reliable announcement yet. Bs1jac (talk) 20:44, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Yep. See WP:NOTSTATS - it's fanboy cruft that isn't needed. What exactly is the point of listing them? Who cares about the fourth best batter's strike rate? Or the third-best bowler's economy? This esoteric information can be found on Cricinfo, and we only need to include the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker in the infobox. See the previous qualifer as an example. @Bs1jac and Lugnuts: CI is showing Sikander Billah instead of Sikder Billah debuting, although CI does have a profile for Sikder Billah. Same remains unsolved of Umer Imtiaz and Umar Toor. Human (talk) 06:51, 21 February 2022 (UTC)

Final standing

@Bs1jac and Lugnuts: An anonymous user copy pasted a final standings in the article. I also saw it used in previous editions. Do you think it is needed this time? This year the qualifiers are divided into two parts unlike previous editions. Human (talk) 09:11, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

I don't see the main tournament having this sort of standings. The qualifying was straightforward this year with the two teams in final qualifying unlike previous editions, and other teams getting nothing. Human (talk) 09:18, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
