Why was an error added?
editHello there. I just noticed that @Arcahaeoindris added an undue weight error to the article, and also made a few contributions to it as well, can you explain why you did this? Also, I will try to find positive reactions to COP27, to fix the undue weight error, and to improve the article.
Sincerely, Thenewright22 (talk) 03:23, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
@Thenewright22: hi there, thanks for taking this here. The issue is that the majority of the article's length is currently dedicated to criticism or controversies and the summit has not even commenced yet. I tried to add a summary of what is planned to be discussed to balance this better, which was also just removed without explanation. even though there has been a lot of controversy over this, it cannot take up so much of the article. I tried to do this through expanding further background info such as the planned discussion, location, preparation, etc. The section should also be named "Reception" as this is more neutral as per WP:POV. please see WP:CRIT Arcahaeoindris (talk) 08:02, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for explaining! I also started a new section, called "Positive Reception", and added one sentence, saying that the United States supports COP27. Also, do you use he, she, they or any other pronouns? (I use he)

Hi there! I think the content in "positive reception" could be in "preparation" instead as it doesnt rly relate to reception. There also dont need to be separate sections for negative and positive reception. Take a look at WP:CRIT or even the section in the COP26 page. And I use he, thx for asking! Cheers Arcahaeoindris (talk) 12:41, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for suggesting improvements to my edits, I'll do that soon.
- Sincerely, Thenewright22 (talk) 23:23, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- As you suggested, I moved the sentence about how the US supports COP27 to the preparation section. Thanks again, for showing me how to improve the article.
