Vacant seat
editUser:Into Oblivion has done a lot of excellent work on this page while I've been too busy to fill in more of the gaps. Massive thanks. However, I disagree with the removal of the vacant seat from the summary box. The outcome of the election was 13 seats for the Conservatives and one vacant seat with a by-election pending (even the declaration of the result made it clear that the seat was left vacant). Listing the seat as being "Conservative" disguises the fact that it is vacant and gives a distorted impression of the balance of votes in the council chamber. There is no problem with listing the votes as Conservative votes. DrArsenal (talk) 08:51, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
