No, there were fatalities in 3 countries. It affected other countries to a lesser extent. And that doesn’t matter, we call it Effects of Hurricane Ida in the Northeastern United States, not Effects of Hurricane Ida in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts for a reason. 160.72.80.50 (talk) 11:59, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

Support, but is "Balkans" the correct usage? or should it be "Balkan"? Either way, a better title than the current one. Inanimatecarbonrobin (talk) 06:28, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

• Comment This has clearly expanded beyond the Balkan region after the storm affected Libya (and Egypt, to a lesser extent). I would also support a merge here -- if we didn't merge, I would go with something similar to Effects of Hurricane Harvey in Texas, but I don't think the Balkans-specific effects are sufficiently notable to warrant a separate article like that. Jokullmusic 00:28, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
