Infobox Map
editthe map in the infobox should be margins. This was done in most 2016 and 2020 primaries by now and it provides info 140.177.188.47 (talk) 05:44, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- I have no problem with this, though as Elli noted, previous articles on the Iowa Republican caucuses have infobox maps with consistently solid coloring; shaded margin maps are included elsewhere in the article (usually the "Results" section). Changing it on this page alone would be inconsistent. Clyde H. Mapping (talk) 06:02, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- I'd rather have a discussion more broadly on the issue to determine what we should do (and maybe also standardize what shades we should use? ideally some of these). Elli (talk | contribs) 06:07, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- I did this but was reverted for the sake of consistency with past Iowa Caucus result maps. I think the more detailed map gives a more useful picture (especially in light of Haley's extraordinarily narrow victory in one county) but really don't have much of a horse in this race. - Yeah. I think it would be better to use margins overall, especially here since it gives a better idea of victory margins.

- Currently, the infobox map is wrong. It shows 30-40% for Boone County, which had 46% of the vote (per NYT), but not 30-40% for Story (34%) and Polk (38%) Counties. JHarlowR (talk) 01:45, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
