Color to highlight ETNZ results
editI used a lighter shade of green to highlight winner in races involving ETNZ because, while they are still a valuable comparison for the America's Cup regattas, they have zero value for the Luous Vuitton round robins.
No points will be awarded in races involving ETNZ, nor they will influence any other way of determining LVC semi finals.
So, while it's fair to highlights winners in those races it's also very important to be very clear about these facts. If not light green i'm open to other ways of doing this that are not a mere "*". Ideas @Wittylama? :) Bigshot4ever (talk) 17:13, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Bigshot4ever - and thanks for making this page in the first place! I was about to sit down to the daunting task of setting up all those tables the other day - and lo-and-behold you'd already done it!
- I just wrote a long post and then.... re-read the rules. specifically "** The qualification for the Semi-Final of the top four Challengers is based on their race results between each other."
- So - you're probably right. A different shade is a good idea, but we should specify what the shade of green means in the part where that rule is stated in the beginning of the standings subheading. Wittylama 19:10, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
