I propose merging 2024 NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup knockout stage back into this article in the Knockout stage section. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that this split is mirroring what has been done on the 2023 Leagues Cup page. The group stage split seems to make sense when it comprises so many games. I don't think that the same is needed for the knockouts, though, because in this tournament, there are only two knockout rounds consisting of three games, whereas the Leagues Cup knockout had five knockout rounds of 32 games. It seems like breaking the knockout round out to a new page is a stretch in meeting WP:SIZESPLIT recommendations when things like the entire 2023 U.S. Open Cup (minus final) is on one page. -2pou (talk) 23:02, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support. A three-game stage is not long enough to justify a split, especially when the final will likely warrant its own article. SounderBruce 03:18, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support. Same as above. Chris1834 Talk 19:53, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support. I agree that a merger is appropriate. The subsection isn't long enough to warrant its own article, and the current separate article provides few additional details that aren't in the subsection already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coining (talk • contribs) 01:53, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
