Name for McCormick
editMcCormick seems to go by the name “Dave” rather than David. Should we change the naming on the article to reflect that?
Sourced from here BTW: https://www.davemccormickpa.com/ Dancingtudorqueen (talk) 08:54, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Based on an Image from the local ABC Outlet of the PA Ballot, I think Dave would be best. It's what he's listed as on the ballot. Link: https://www.abc27.com/pennsylvania-senate-race/ 216.38.142.137 (talk) 18:39, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
Recount result
editWhen is the recount result? GoodDay (talk) 23:50, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hopefully, we'll have it by 2027! Someone who's wrong on the internet (talk) 06:20, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Bob Casey needs to win 127% of the remaining ballots to retain his senate seat. WorldMappings (talk) 18:37, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- If that's the case then we're in WP:CALC territory and should declare McCormick the winner already. This is getting ridiculous! Someone who's wrong on the internet (talk) 23:52, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
It's over. GoodDay (talk) 02:58, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
Casey concedes
editCasey concedes to McCormick in Pa. Senate race KoolKidMitch (talk) 23:23, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- A concession has no effect on the consensus to wait until there is consensus with the media outlets. ABC, CBS, and NBC have not called it yet. Prcc27 (talk) 23:25, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- I agree but it looks like the consensus and edit notice are not being enforced. AG202 (talk) 00:06, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- ABC, CBS, and NBC have now all called it. Consensus has now been reached. Epicradman123 (talk) 01:16, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
