Include RFK Jr. in the infobox?
editIt is justifiable to include RFK Jr. in the Arizona infobox, as he has polled as high as 26% in the state and has achieved ballot access. This is a different scenario than the national page, as here he has ballot access. I thought this would be common sense, but people apparently want to start edit wars because they think that if RFK Jr. isn't allowed on the national page for now that also means he can't be on the infoboxes in pages where he is on the ballot and polling above 5%. laganrat (talk) 01:51, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- Concur. While I agree with those that believe Mr. Kennedy should remain off the the main article for now. I do believe he should be added to the infobox in states such as Arizona. He exceeds the WP:5% average threshold. And he has obtained ballot access in the state. He meets the two required criteria to be in the infobox. ThisUserIsTaken (talk) 02:32, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
Why are these pages not showing RCP, 538 aggregates?
editWhy are the state wide polling pages not showing RCP, 538, etc., aggregates? 2607:FEA8:86DE:AF00:94E6:8BAD:E45F:5D4B (talk) 00:32, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Simply because no editors have added them yet. Volunteers gotta volunteer. --Spiffy sperry (talk) 02:13, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Swap Primary and General Election section ordering?
editGeneral election is certainly more notable now. I'm guessing some folks prefer chronological order and keeping General Election connected to polling appendices below but the article would be more useful to readers, imo, if we swapped the two Superb Owl (talk) 21:31, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
"Purple State" is neither a Definition nor a Limitation
editWe the People do not have a political system that is constitutionally limited to only two-parties. Language such as "purple state" can promote a bias that presumes that our nation has a permanent two-party political system that is required by law. So, at least add a note that some Americans don't support a permanent two-party system and therefore they don't view our nation in terms of blue, red, and purple. The two parties' campaigns are funded by those with business/corporate interests, and that is symptomatic of a corporatocracy. Thank you. 2601:189:4100:EC30:C0F3:B411:43D4:62D1 (talk) 03:24, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
