Starting Age of Human language - worth adding - or Not?

edit

@Warrenmck: (and others) - A research study[1] by British archaeologist "Steven Mithen" considered the approximate starting age of "human language" ("between two and 1.5 million years ago") - and was "posted" in the "2024 in science" article - but then was "reverted".

QUESTION: - Should this study be added to the "2024 in science" article nonetheless? - or Not? - Comments Welcome - in any case - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 12:44, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I removed your addition of this because it was a single anthropological/archaeological study which challenges our current understanding pretty strongly. It’s good work, but it doesn’t definitely push back the date in the way your edits claimed, as much as it proposes an alternative hypothesis which has not yet really had time to be weighed in on fully by the relevant academic communities. This isn’t the recent discovery of a wooden structure that predates other human structures which definitively shifted the clock, this is one timeline arrived at by a synthesis of evidence and needs more widespread feedback before it can be considered a major breakthrough in our understanding. @Warrenmck: - Thank You for an *Excellent* reply - it's greatly appreciated - on a related matter - what might be a worthy timing (as things now stand) for the start of human language in your opinion? - as before, on "your talk-page", this might help place a time on my current "{{Human timeline}}" template - at the moment - this is specified at about 1.9 million years ago - is there some better time? - Thanks in advance for your reply - iac - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 14:45, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dark Energy is Flawed or Nonexistent?

edit

Seems recent studies suggest that Dark Energy thinking is seriously "Flawed"[1] - or that Dark Energy doesn't even exist at all[2][3] - if interested, my related pubished NYT comments may be relevant[4] - in any case - Worth adding to the main "2024 in science" article - or Not? - Comments Welcome - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 14:51, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
