Does anyone know if the silver "punch" bowl made of melted Combat Infantry Badges stayed in S Korea or moved to Ft Lewis? It was still in Korea in '86. Delfeye (talk) 03:17, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Copyediting

In 'Operation Enduring Freedom' sub-section 'Deployment and elections' para 2, it states that: "Intelligence reports later confirmed that Mohammad Khan had been killed in the engagement". But in the previous sentence he was "forced to flee".
These two contradictory statements could be easily sorted out, but I do not know which is correct. Changing either would change the meaning, but which way?

This article is littered with unexplained acronyms: B/4-25 (Bravo Company 4th Battalion 25th Infantry), FRAGO(Fragmented Order), COP (Combat Outpost), SBCT (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), ANP (Afghan National Police?), RC (Regional Command) South ;there are many more. Apart from ANA (Afghan National Army), I am not sure what they mean.
Surely it would be a whole lot clearer if they were written in full on first mention. I'm pretty sure the MoS says something to that effect.

To elaborate on what has already been pointed out (above), there is nothing on WW I, WW II or Vietnam, apart from a brief entry in (I think), the battle honors section. At the moment the article is grotesquely distorted by just one action in Korea. Even that seems to me to be a bit skew-whiff; i.e. lots on the prepartions for the battle, but not much on the battle itself.

The article gives Heartbreak Ridge battle history and month/day, but never designates the year Jnmwiki (talk) 14:57, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
